Mi segunda incursion con mi olla de coccion lenta, no ha podido ser mas satisfactoria,el estofado que hago de toda la vida, que ni en mis mejores sueños podia competir con el de mi madre, pues ahora, puedo decir que si, que esta igual de tierno y rico, la carne se deshace al pincharla, el sabor es intenso…manjar de dioses!!
My second time with my new Slow Cooker has been a great success, my all time favourite beef stew, the one that my mom used to cook for all the family, and that I never dreamt to cook and get a similar result…finally become a reality, yes! it tastes the same! meat melts in your mouth, intense flavour…I am in love with my SC!

Ingredientes/Ingredients:

  • 700 gr carne de ternera para guisar/1,5lb cube beef stew meat.
  • harina/flour
  • 2 patatas/2 potatoes
  • 1 zanahoria/1 carrot
  • 200 gr champiñones/200 gr mushrooms
  • 1 tallo de apio/ 1 stalck of celery
  • 1 cebolla pequeña/1 small onion.
  • 2 dientes de ajo/2 colves of garlic
  • 1 cucharadita salsa Worcestershire/1 tsp Worcestershire sauce.
  • 200 ml caldo de carne/200 ml beef stock
  • 100 ml vino para cocinar/ 100 ml cooking wine
  • sal, pimienta, pimienton dulce/salt, pepper, paprika to taste.
  • 1 cda aceite de oliva/1 tsp olive oil.
Elaboracion/Process:
  1. Enharinamos la carne a cubitos y sofreimos hasta sellar en una sarten con el aceite de oliva./ Mix beef with flour and fry a little bit in a pan with olive oil, just to seal it.
  2. Pelar y trocear las patatas ,las zanahorias, y añadir a la olla de coccion lenta, añadir la carne y los jugos de la sarten, añadir el resto de ingredientes y sazonar./Peel and cut veggies into cubes, add to the slow cooker, add meat, and all the ingredients, mix it all.
  3. Mezclar y tapar con la tapa, programar a SLOW, toda la noche o unas 8-10 horas./Mix everything well, and put the lid on, cook in SLOW for 8-10 hours, I have left it overnight.
