Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Os acordáis que hace unos meses me compre finalmente una Slow Cooker, desde entonces he ido probando recetas, viendo ventajas y desventajas(he de decir que por ahora ninguna), una slow cooker definitivamente vale la pena, no invertí mas de 40 € en ella,asi que porque no probar?
Por ahora, digo que para la carne es FANTASTICA, particularmente cerdo y ternera para mi,asi, que hoy, vamos a probar con el cerdo, en concreto Pulled Pork!
Do you remember a few months ago that I finally bought a Slow Cooker?Since then I´ve been experimenting with some recipes, and getting a feel of advantages and disadvantages(at the moment none), a Slow Cooker is aboslutely worth having(especially for a 40$ investment) At the moment I can say that for meat is FANTASTIC, specially pork and beef, so today we try pork, let´s tackle some Slow Cooker Pulled Pork!
Ingredients/Ingredients:
  • 1,600 gr aguja de cerdo deshuesada/2,5 lb pork top loin roast boneless pork loin
  • sal y pimienta/salt and pepper
  • 300 ml zumo de piña/12 oz pinneaple juice
  • 450 ml salsa barbacoa/2 cups BBQ sauce
Elaboracion/Process:
  1. Espolvorea el cerdo con sal y pimienta por todo, coloca el cerdo en la olla de coccion lenta,añade el zumo de piña,tapa tu olla y cocina a SLOW por 8-12 horas./ Sprinkle all over the pork with salt and pepper, put the pork inside the slow cooker, add pinneaple juice, cover with the lid, and cook for 8-12 hours at SLOW temperature.
  2. Cuando el cerdo este hecho, saca la olla y pasala a la nevera, durante unas 3-4 horas, para que se enfrie,quita la grasa que flote, y cuelalo. En una sarten, pon 235 ml del liquido obtenido, y la salsa barbacoa y cocina durante 15-20 minutos para espesar la salsa./ When pork is done, remove the enameled slow cooker pot from the slow cooker, and place it in the fridge for 3-4 hours, remove grease and drain the liquid.Pour the liquid(1 cup is enough) in a pan, with BBQ sauce, and cook for 15-20 min, to thicken it.
  3. Mientras deshace la carne en hebras con las manos o con dos tenedores.Añadelo a la salsa, mezcla..y disfruta! /In the meantime shred the pork with your fingers or with two forks.Toss the shredded pork in the BBQ sauce and serve, enjoy!
