Tortilla de Patata/Spanish Potato Omelette Thermomix

Fui a hacer una tortilla de patata, tenia muchas ganas de comer tortilla, y cuando fui a prepararla, no me quedaba mucho aceite para freir las patatas, cuando iba a cesar en el intento, me acorde de que con Thermomix podemos hacerlo con muuuucho menos aceite y muuuuuucho mas sano por consiguiente, eso es lo que consegui,luego se cuaja como cada uno quiera, sarten u horno, yo lo hice en la sarten.
I was about to prepare a potato omelette, it was a desire coming to my mind during the whole day, and just when I was about to make it,ups, I did not have much olive oil to deep fry potatoes as it needs, then I remembered that with the termie we can do it muuuch more healthier with less oil, you can finish in the pan or in the oven, that is up to you.

 

Ingredientes/Ingrendients:
  • 200 gr cebolla en cuartos/200 gr onions cut into quarters
  • 100 gr aceite de oliva/100 gr olive oil
  • 100 gr agua/100 gr water
  • 600 gr patata cortada en rodajas finas/600 gr potatoes cut into thin slices
  • sal/salt
  • 5 huevos/5 eggs
Elaboracion/Process:

  1. Pon en el vaso la cebolla y trocea 4 seg/vel 4./Put onion in the bowl and chop 4 sec/spd 4.
  2. Añade el aceite y el agua y sofrie 7 min/varoma/vel cuchara/ Add oil and water, and cook 7 min/varoma/spoon spd.
  3. Coloca la mariposa y añade las patatas con un poco de sal, programa 13 min/varoma/vel cuchara./Place butterfly in your blades, and add potatoes with a pinch of salt and cook 13 min/varoma/spoon spd.
  4. Retira la mariposa, vuelca las patatas en el cestillo para escurrirlas,sin lavar el vaso añade los huevos y bate 10 seg/vel 3./Remove butterfly, drain potatoes in the basket, and without cleaning the bowl, add eggs and beat 10 sec/spd 3.
  5. En una sarten al fuego con un poco de aceite, cuaja la tortilla, removiendo de los lados al centro hasta que cuaje para que no se pegue, y entonces damos la vuelta con un plato de diametro mayor que la tortilla, cocinamos unos minutos por el otro lado y listo./In a pan with a little bit of oil, cook the omelette, stiring from tge sides to the center so it does not stick to the bottom of the pan, when it starts to cook, use a dish of bigger diameter than the omelette and flip it, cook for 4 minutes more, and it is done.
